A New Knitting Experience

In November 2014 we opened Convent and Chapel Wool Shop which offers knitters a chance to discover and enjoy a world of knitting treats and extravagances.

The shop is located in the heritage Bridge View Inn at Rylstone in NSW, around 45 minutes the Sydney side of Mudgee, and houses a collection of artisan yarns, books, needles and notions, including KnitPro and HiyaHiya. Knitters will also find a range of beads, buttons and other surprises. We have many temptations for those who are partial to using needles. We particularly cater for those who have a keen interest in fine lace knitting.

Our international brands include Hedgehog Fibres, Qing Fibres, Three Irish Girls, Hand Maiden, Schoppel Wolle (Zauberball), Jamieson & Smith, and Opal. Local brands include Fiber Lily, Adagio Mills, Great Southern Yarn, White Gum Wool and Ozifarmers Market – a carefully selected blend of high quality local and international artisan yarn producers.

We also try to have lots of samples knitted to inspire you to try our yarns and take up new challenges.
