An effective and deceptively simple blanket - suitable for beginners or those who just want a relaxing knit.
Looks like crochet but utilises a knit one below stitch. Can be used with any weight yarn and is a perfect stash buster.
The pattern is for 4ply/sock weight yarn and 3.5mm needles. We used approx 800 grams of yarn for approximately 140cm x 160cm (56" x 64") size blanket, however you can easily adapt to suit yourself.
