Léttlopi, literally “light Lopi”, is made of two strands of unspun lopi slightly twisted together. This makes it less breakable than the single Plötulopi strand. It is probably the most versatile yarn in temperate climates to knit Icelandic sweaters and accessories that you can wear both outdoors and indoors.
If you are looking for additional colours to work with Lopi for colourwork, we suggest using Convent Donegal Tweed (10ply). It will work well with Lettlopi.
